On a pleasant late summer (or early autumn) evening, the feast of the Triumph of the Cross was celebrated with a Missa Cantata at St Therese Church on the Somerton Road.
Mass is celebrated beneath the fine east window depicting the Nativity.
Acolytes and thurifer flank the celebrant during the proclamation of the Gospel.
Many thanks to the celebrant, the MC and servers, and to the schola who chanted so beautifully. It was uplifting to see a good number in the congregation, some of whom were attending their first celebration of Mass in the Extraordinary Form.
