If you haven’t yet experienced it, the pilgrimage to Chartres at Pentecost – walking over 3 days from Paris – is one of the most beautiful experiences of the usus antiquior there is. Up to ten thousand Catholics walking and praying and singing and enjoying the French countryside. The Irish chapter is under the patronage of S. Patrick. The chaplain, the Very Reverend Michael Cahill, P.P. is a wonderful preacher and teacher of the Faith as well as confessor. To come this year (northern representation needs improving) please look at the Irish chapter’s website.
