Holy Mass will be offered in S. Therese’ church on the 21st of June at 7pm. The Holy Gospel is from S. John chapter 10:1-10 – the beginning of the Good Shepherd discourse. Later Our Lord speaks of the one flock and the one Shepherd – an image of the union between God and man effected through the Incarnation and sacrificial love of the Son and the out-pouring of the Holy Spirit. Similar motifs such as the Bridegroom and the Bride or the Head and the body are used by Ss. John and Paul in their theology to bring out this communion with the Holy Trinity that begins at our Baptism.
May the Holy Octave of Pentecost be an occasion of purification and awareness of our high calling through the Divine Indwelling within us.
