IMMACULATE HEART BULLETIN FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT

IMMACULATE HEART BULLETIN FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT

Dear Friends of the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Please take note of the special schedule this week for Christmas.

Concerning Christmas Midnight Mass and Christmas day Masses: To help insure that we follow the regulations imposed upon us I ask you to send an email to [email protected] indicating your name, which Christmas Mass you plan to attend, and how many people you will bring with you (your family or household).

For the time being at least, it seems that public Masses can continue during the new ‘lockdown.’ Please pray that the devil does not succeed in suppressing the sacraments again.

We have come to the Fourth Sunday of Advent; there are only five more days until Christmas. Do not let the busy-ness of these days distract you from preparing a place in your souls for our Infant King when he comes this Christmas. Remember that the most important preparation we can make is a good Confession!

Also, next week two plenary indulgences can be gained by reciting the Te Deum on 31st December and the Veni Creator on the 1st January.

Have you seen the new sign outside the church? I am sure that our Blessed Mother must be pleased that her image is visible to all who pass by the Antrim Road.

Wishing you a blessed week and a Happy Christmas,

Canon Heppelle
