On Wednesday, Oct 30th at 7 pm, there will be a Mass celebrated at St Mary’s Chapel Lane BT11HH in reparation for the new “Púca” festival being promoted throughout Ireland and abroad. This is a new annual three-day festival which is to take place from October 31st to November 2nd. The festival is pushing the old pagan Ireland to the fore, boasting of spirits revealing themselves on Halloween night. This Sunday past we were sad to announce the last Mass of Canon John O’Connor in Belfast. We are very grateful for the dedication shown by he and the other priests of the Institute of Christ the King, who make the long journey from Limerick to say Mass for us each and every month.
Canon O’Connor has been reassigned to the Institute’s newest apostolate in Pittsburgh, USA, where we’re sure he’ll be put to good use.… Read More
Divine Mercy devotions will take place before and after this Sunday’s Mass in St Therese church, commencing with the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:45pm.
We hope also to have confessions in the half hour before Mass and will update to confirm shortly.
The Traditional Latin Mass will be celebrated on the 17th March at 2.00pm for the feast of St Patrick. Mass is in St Therese of Lisieux Church, Somerton Rd, Belfast.
